While you yourself might not have any great aspirations to become a world-famous movie star, if the leap from your current career to the one that you dream of pursuing seems too great to contemplate, then think on. As you relax and take in the festive season’s offerings on TV, spare a thought for the dreams of some of your favorite actors, actresses, talk show hosts and other celebrities and bear in mind the circuitous routes that some of them took on their way towards their ultimate goals.
Of course, there are many examples of now rich and famous celebrities who followed their dreams from childhood or young adulthood and in some cases they were backed by money, connections or the encouragement of their families. In many other instances, however, our favorite stars did not benefit from any special privileges in life, with many overcoming the difficulties of broken homes or financial hardships to follow their instincts anyway.
Having discovered her love of acting while studying at the University of Texas, Renee Zellweger supported herself through jobs such as waitressing until her first lowly role in a beef commercial came along. Johnny Depp, meanwhile, is reported to have worked as a telemarketer for ink pens before making it in the acting industry and, amongst other things, Brad Pitt worked as a chauffeur and dressed as an El Pollo Loco chicken in order to earn money to pay for his acting lessons. Jim Carrey did a stint at a science testing facility in Ontario before he went into stand-up comedy in Toronto and Morgan Freeman worked as a mechanic in the United States Air Force and a transcript clerk at Los Angeles Community College before returning to his early dreams of acting.
It might be easy to think that these individuals simply cut the right breaks, but the fact is that if they had not gone after what they wanted, it almost undoubtedly would not have landed in their laps. It doesn’t matter which country you come from or what your particular dream, if your desire to follow a certain direction is strong enough, you can make it happen.

There are a few very good points made here. On the whole, I’m not awfully keen on blogging. however, every so often we all have to pay attention.
